Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am Attica .It’s so great to  have this chance to stand here, to share my dream with all of you.

Success, what an ordinary word. Everyday, we can see this word here and there. But, how do you  define this word in your mind？What does it exactly mean to you? What kind of success is just right for you? And, what concerns us most is that：How to get success?

Undoubtedly, I have always been considering these questions ever since I knew this word. However, my ideas and answers are changing as there are too many people and factors which can easily affect us. If we ask 100 people, we will get 100 different answers. Everyone has his own idea about success. Everyone demonstrates his own success in his own way. Netherless, what matters us is just what we think.

There are countless possibilities in our future, among which, only one definitely belongs to each single one of us. It depends on what we want and what we choose.

I asked myself, again and again: What kind of life are you eager for? What kind of future will be the best for you? What kind of success means a lot to you? Listening to the voice deep from my heart, it finally tells me the answer that I have been searching for years：It’s an educator! It’s an educator that I really want to be! An educator who can change something ,an educator who can effect something ,an educator who will bring something different for the students of the People’s Republic of China!

My mother always tells me: Never ask what you can receive from others, ask what you can give to others. Ever since I became a student in schools, the teachers keep telling us：You should do this. You ought to be that kind of person. Let me tell you how to do it. Just follow me. I know what the best is for you. Be quiet, you ask too much. Oh no, you can not do that! But, why? Why do I have to this？Why can’I do that? Why to sit at my seat for over 8 hours day after day but not play with butterflies in the garden？Why do I have to listen to the teachers? Why can’t I have my own thoughts, my own ideas and my own opinions about everything? Why？Just tell me why! Of course, the teachers won’t tell us“why”, there is no “why”in their world, but only “how”and “what”.

It has been said that, in eastern countries, the older you get, the more interests you will have in study .However, here in China, the longer time you stay in schools, the more interests you will lose in study. How satiric!

Wherever and whenever it is, it’s our first instinct to proudly declare to all over the world that: We are Chinese ! But how about to be a Chinese student? Should we also unconditionally be proud of it? What is your answer? Honestly speaking, I don’feel like wasting all my time in so-called traditional schools of  China. At least, I desire to be the one I want to be, but not the one others want me to be! 

Maybe it isn’t a kind of fortune to be a student in China ,however, who says itisn’t a kind of fortune to be dedicated to Chinese education? Who says it  isn’t a kind of fortune to be revolutionists that have the probabilities to change unumerable Chinese students’life? Nothing is impossible in our future; nothing is unchangeable in this world. A dream is just a dream; it would never come true if we do not make efforts to achieve it. So, just do it! From now on ！ Come on! Just to be the one we want to be, just to define our own success, just to make our dreams part of our future!

Now, let’s go back to the question :What is success? As Kaifu Lee said: Make the world where you exist different from the one that you are not in. Just make the world different! If so, that is your success!
